Covid-19 Vaccinations

Autumn Covid and Flu Vaccinations (Information updated 24/10/2025)

West Northumberland covid vaccination clinics will start from the 1st October (please see dates and locations below). The clinics will again be delivered by Hadrian Primary Care Alliance, which is a collaboration of local practices (including Burn Brae Medical Group) working together to deliver vaccinations in the area. All clinic appointments are bookable via the National Booking System which opens for patient bookings from 1st September 2025 . The appointments can be booked online through the National Booking System or calling 119.

This season, patients who are eligible for their flu vaccine alongside their covid vaccine can have this at the same time in all of the clinics below. If you wish to have both vaccines in clinic, please select the 'flu and COVID' appointment option when booking online or request this when calling 119. If you don't want to have your flu vaccine at the same time as your covid, select or request the covid only appointment option when booking into a covid clinic and contact the practice to arrange a separate appointment for your flu vaccine

Eligibility

Covid booster vaccinations for the most vulnerable and at greatest risk from COVID-19 will be available for the following groups: :

• aged 75 years & over by the end of January 2026 (people born before 31st January 1951)
• aged 6 months and over and are immunosuppressed (please click "Read More" below for further information). 

Flu vaccination will be available to the usual at-risk groups of all ages as well as everyone aged 65+

This year we will only be running a single mass vaccination clinic on Saturday 4th October alongside the Covid vaccination clinic that will be taking place in the Sele Practice waiting room. We will also be offering Flu vaccination at smaller clinics during the week as usual.
