The NHS has a zero tolerance policy of all violence and aggression. The majority of patients behave in a reasonabe manner but a small minority believe that it is acceptable to speak or act in ways that are unacceptable.
We will not tolerate abusive language or threatening behaviour against any member of staff. Such behaviour may result in the offender being denied access to the clinical team and/or further measures as appropriate, which include removal from the Practice list and if necessary the involvement of the police.
