The Primary Care Centre is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6:30pm. On a Saturday the Primary Care Centre is used by Hadrian Primary Care Alliance for their Extended Access Hub - appointments for which can be booked through our Receptionists.

Accessing the Primary Care Centre
The Primary Care Centre is located on the Hexham General Hospital site with its own entrance. The main hospital visitor car park (payment required) is directly opposite the Primary Care Centre entrance. Free disabled parking is located in the car park nearest the main hospital entrance.
There is a bus stop outside the Primary Care Centre and the main bus station is located on Corbidge Road a short walk from the hospital site. Hexham train station is about a 5 minute walk down the hill past the bus station.
The Primary Care Centre is all on one level with no stairs. The entrance has two sets of automatic sliding doors, so patients with walking aids, wheelchairs or mobility scooters can access the building unaided.
The large welcoming reception idesk is accessible with a built-in loop system for hearing aid users with a "T" switch.
We have a toilet block at the back of our waiting room next to the reception desk which includes baby change facilities and a disabled toilet with grab rails and emergency pull cord.
