Ear wax can sometimes build up and block the ear canal, reducing your hearing. Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust have produced an ear care leaflet that explains how to manage ear wax. Most people should be able to sussessfully manage their own ears, but where ear syringing may be needed please make an appointment with a member of our nursing team who will be able to advise you. If you are suitable for ear syringing and have been softening the wax with drops, then our reception team will be able to book you an appointment on a Saturday at the Hub, based in the Primary Care Centre.
